Madeline has a strong track record and understanding of what is coming next, and how to turn strategic goals into a deliverable reality.

She has spent more than 15 years in the UK shaping and delivering new financial services. Programmes of work that introduce new opportunities, design and delivery across organisations that include Banks (large and small), FinTech, Insurance, and the UK financial services regulators. As well as restructuring, she helps organisations understand how to operationalise and make the most of the potential of new technologies.

Alongside the RTC she has been working with a number of smaller start ups and is the COO of a growing FinTech company. In 2016 she was recognised as one of the City’s Inspirational Innovators and Influencers and joined the judging panel for 2017 selection. In November she was a judge for the 2017 UK Business Awards

Over 20 years of leadership experience in the C-Suite of global financial and technology markets,with a keen eye for growing successful teams and developing highly innovative solutions and technology platforms.
A multiple award-winning Member of the Young Presidents Organization; the Young Entrepreneur’s Council and The Institute of Directors; as well as a graduate of McGill University and the inventor of a number of industry defining patents.
Stuart was named by Bank Innovation as a 2015 Innovator to Watch – one of 44 Executives ‘Shaping the Future of Banking’ and is a TEDx Speaker on The Future of Your Personal Data – Privacy vs Monetization

Francesca Gomez - Co-founder & CEO, Smarter Human

Smarter Human, a RegTech company which builds intelligent risk assistants to simplify managing risk and regulation.

For the past 10 years she has worked in Financial Services tackling the challenge of making risk management designed for legacy banks work for digital services and products. Previously Head of Operational Risk at Tandem, the digital challenger bank, Francesca has had the opportunity to innovate in the risk space for banks and regulated companies of different sizes and complexities, including American Express and HSBC. She has seen the similar cross-cutting challenges these face when adopting legacy approaches and technology to manage risk and compliance and how these can introduce waste and create barriers to entry for Financial Services.

With a background in Artificial Intelligence and UX design, she is particularly interested in exploring how these can be used to improve approaches to risk and reg management. Francesca is a member of the Digital Risk Management (DRM) Institute and has spoken at events including ISACA Europe and the New Generation Operational Risk Conference.

Hans Crockett - Chief Editor, RegTech Associates

A specialist in risk management and global regulatory solutions with over 18 years of experience gained across investment banks, portfolio & risk management solution providers, and data vendors. Prior to joining RegTech Associates, Hans was Risk Services VP at S&P Global, where he led product innovation and thought leadership initiatives for regulatory & risk solutions.

Following postgraduate degrees in Astrophysics at the universities of London and Paris, Hans joined Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein as an Equity Analyst. He then spent time at MSCI, Misys, SunGard and Imagine Software in business development, advisory and strategy roles covering both sell-side and buy-side institutions

Diana Paredes - CEO & Co-Founder, Suade

Suade, a software platform that enables financial institutions to understand and deliver their regulatory requirements. Prior to founding Suade, Diana had a successful career in investment banking, covering all asset classes at Barclays and Merrill Lynch, across sales, trading & structuring. Whilst working in the industry, she saw an opportunity to innovate and launch her current Fintech/Regtech startup. She believes that a data-driven approach to regulation is the key to preventing the next financial crisis.
