What you'll be doing:
  • Be part of a small team of DevOps/Site Reliability Engineers working towards shared goals
  • Perform engineering work in pairs/mob programming, with code reviews
  • Build automated continuous integration and deployment pipelines that enable other teams to deliver high-quality software at speed
  • Implement instrumentation and monitoring strategies for existing and new business systems
  • Take part in design discussions and help the team to find solutions to complex Site Reliability Engineering challenges
  • Follow current best-practices and agile processes
  • Work throughout the SDLC to ensure reliability and high availability is built-in from scratch and present in all environments up to and including the production environment
What you'll need to have:
  • Experience building automated continuous integration and deployment pipelines for delivery of software in a distributed architecture
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities, especially under pressure
  • Comfort in working in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
  • Confidence in solving difficult engineering challenges and a solid can-do mentality
  • The ability to deliver clean and highly performant solutions
  • The willingness to follow the processes and procedures necessary to operate in a regulated financial industry
