Our goal is to improve the online buying experience for our consumers and merchants all over the world and change the way consumers buy online.

We're growing our Engineering Effectiveness group here at Klarna; Engineering Effectiveness  provides a standardised set of engineering services to our autonomous development teams in order to reduce complexity and make them more effective. We love to provide a smooth engineering experience and help our teams with what is at the heart of our engineering culture: Continuous Delivery, Micro Services, Running in the cloud, Container Technology, Experimentation, etc.

Imagine building something entirely from scratch, owning everything from the research, design, development to deployment and integration, well that's exactly what we're doing here in our Tooling and Monitoring team. We building the services and tools for Klarna’s teams to test and monitor their deliveries in both development and production environment. This is touching all aspects of the user journey and all aspects of the Klarna technology stack. This team is contributing to the core of how we develop and evolve great products for our consumers and merchants.  

You should get in touch with us if…
  • Large scale services is something that excites you and you know how to build and run services with stellar uptime.
  • You value simple solutions in clean code and to know your way around UNIX/Linux systems
  • You have ideally build some tooling and/or monitoring capabilities for consumer services across a diverse technology stack in the past.
  • You are used to work with the entire lifecycle of a service, from writing application code and tests to deploying it to production and supporting it.
  • Working as a team is in your DNA; we respect and support each other, and we practise agile methodologies including pair and mob programming.
  • Deploying code multiple times a day using automated pipelines feels natural to you.
  • Learning and succeeding in fields you haven’t worked in before is something that motivates you.
