Job Description

The primary focus of the Implementation Manager will be the implementation and support of Klarna Medium to Enterprise size merchants.  The Implementation Manager will become an expert in custom platform integrations, as well as those on supported platforms such as Magento, Demandware, Hybris and Websphere.  In addition to supporting merchant integrations, you will also help improve documentation, processes and procedures used by the Implementations Team.

Additional tasks:

  • Coordinate with and instruct the merchant how to install Klarna modules on their site
  • Coordinate the testing of the integration with the merchant
  • Setup and control the A/B testing parameters with input from Sales
  • Monitor and support the integrations before handoff to Merchant Support
  • Troubleshoot and correct production issues with the integrations as Tier 3 support
  • Attend daily standups and bi-weekly sprint planning meetings

This role will also provide merchants with outstanding service and technical knowledge.  This individual can expect to be involved in a range of activities with customers, implementations, upgrades, managing the process & expectations, troubleshooting & resolving technical issues, responding to merchant questions in a timely manner.

Problem solving and achieving results are critical, as the Implementation Manager will work with merchants from the initial installation of the Klarna module until the merchant is satisfied to go live.

You will:

  • Work closely with Klarna merchants
  • Assist clients in installing or upgrading their Klarna module
  • Troubleshoot any issue preventing merchant from going live
  • QA integration to ensure merchant is ready to go live
  • Work on multiple implementations and upgrades concurrently

Applicant requirements:

  • Development experience in PHP, HTML and CSS   
  • eCommerce Platform experience (i.e. Magento, Shopify, Custom eCommerce platforms)
  • Able to self manage yet work well within a team
  • Close attention to detail
  • Experience with web technologies (JS, HTML, REST APIs, etc)
  • Able to talk clearly and confidently with developers
  • Proven ability to become expert in new technologies in a short time frame.
  • Excellent oral and written presentation skills in English, able to communicate product, business, technical information
  • Demonstrable experience managing client-facing projects to completion
  • Ability to work within a multi-functional team, uniting disparate groups across engineering, product management, and sales in support of a common goal
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical problems and communicate clearly issues to a non-technical audience
  • Experience in ecommerce and/or payments
