Company Overview 

Railz is a well-funded, recently launched FinTech that provides a single API to all major accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, etc.) service providers and enables on-demand access to financial transactions, analytics, insights and reports on Small Business customers. Our solution suits any lender, financial institution, accounting firm, auditor and tech developer that requires financial data on its Small Business customer for the purpose of reviewing a credit application or assessing the financial health of a business. Our Data as a Service solution allows our customers to be up and running in hours. We provide quick, low cost and direct access to both existing and new customers’ accounting software via our single API.

The Role

We are looking for a self-starter who has demonstrated success dealing with ambiguity, operating in a high-growth environment, and solving problems with limited oversight. The ideal candidate will have experience: (1) scaling a Fintech B2B sales org, (2) contributing to the growth and development of a sales operations team, and (3) superior communication skills to work across the most senior stakeholders.

Your Responsibilities

Prospecting and generating commercially viable leads with senior level executives across large enterprise businesses and managing the sales conversation from prospect to deal close

Identify and develop new business opportunities throughout the US & Canada

Work within processes such as sales target setting, forecasting and budgeting Design sales workflows for your relevant channels and target accounts

Meet with prospects and clients (as necessary) to discover needs and requirements Update all individual contacts with each prospect in Company CRM platform

Maintain accurate sales activity, prospect, customer, pipeline & forecast information in CRM

Demonstrate proficiency in company and competitive market products

Experience and Skills You Bring

Has 3 – 6 years of business development and/or sales experience in a high-tech growth B2B SaaS environment

Understand complex sales processes, build consensus and be adept at developing relationships at multiple levels

Sales transformation skills, stakeholder influencing skills and ability to manage through ambiguity are also core to success

Has strong analytical skills and a structured approach to solving unique business problems

Has experience working with data and large data sets (e.g. CRM and Excel skills)Has the ability to set priorities, focus on details and is self-motivated

Has an enthusiastic "roll up your sleeves" mentality; and works well under pressure, with a high degree of adaptability and flexibility in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment

The ability to establish rapport and deliver compelling, persuasive propositions to an executive-level audience

Ability to navigate commercial discussions across large organizations and matrix environmentsSuperior time management skills and attention to detail

Deep understanding of business concepts for large national and international corporations
