Your challenge
We are looking for the absolute best in the field of Business Development. As we are expanding to new countries in product markets, we are in need of the top experts in this field to help us become THE market leader in online ticketing and related event services. Paylogic will change the game in a world today predominantly thinking in hard tickets sales towards a world that thinks in sustainable fan relationships and with best services and technologies supporting them. This job requires you to act as an analytic market researcher, a project leader building results, a sales manager acquiring highly profitable and sustainable business and an account manager building optimal relationships with clients (event organisers) and stakeholders. This is why we are looking for a highly innovative, ambitious and fast learning results driver with a proven track record of success in Business Development. You will work closely with the CEO and the board, report to the COO and are expected to meet the high demands of the ever changing markets and be the driver of our international success and leadership. As a Business Development Manager you will focus on the commercial aspects of our product, our partnerships and the opportunities within the market. You will set up new business cases and support the commercial department with enrolling new models.

Your responsibilities:
By taking Paylogic’s vision as your starting point and based upon thorough knowledge of our current and future markets, you develop a plan and framework towards driving and reaching our strategic goals, widen our service proposition and generate partnerships. Hands on steering towards these goals.
Driving projects and research, you are kickstarting, managing and main responsible for several business cases and projects and their (commercial) results.
Act as a rigorous project manager, chasing the activities together with all the internal stakeholders to make sure that launches are according to timelines, agreements and as efficient as possible.
Assure that new products are delivered state-of-the-art in terms of user experience and efficiency, working closely together with all relevant departments and product owners.
You will report to the COO and give advice to the CEO and the board.

In addition:
Developing an operational plan for the internationalization for Paylogic together with relevant departments and product owners.
Researching the chosen international markets, categorize them in predefined traits to explore opportunities for Paylogic.
Structure your research and findings into dashboards, reports and detailed project planning.
Further develop business, in terms of sales, account and product management in the new countries where Paylogic is active. You will be required to develop operating plans, chart customer needs and internal requirements.
International extensive competitor analysis, including a detailed market chart.
Any on the ground local activities that will further the operationalization of the business development roadmap.

Your profile
Relevant Bachelor’s/Master’s degree preferably (economics / business studies or comparable).
Minimum of 5 years of business development in a similar role in in either the event, music, entertainment or fast growing online industry. Having a good network in the event and / or entertainment industry is a big plus.
You can provide us with strong, verifiable examples of your success as a Business Developer.
Proven track record in project management skills, competitor analysis and market analysis.
Strong sales skills and next to being a lead hunter, the account manager in you knows how to build solid and profitable relationships.
Experience in working with several partners and new products.
You know how to connect people and departments.
Strong sense of responsibility in leading the product, the business cases and the goals.
You are familiar to risk, resource and time management.
You can handle stressful situations; but is always able to work structured, accurate and within given deadlines. Ability to organize and prioritize workload and manage processes.
You speak and write Dutch and English fluently and are in the possession of both a working- and residency permit for the Netherlands. Another European language like German or French would be a plus.

This is a full time job of 40 hours per week and will be located in our Amsterdam office.
