SumUp is looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist capable of effective decisions in a fast paced, start-up environment: you should be able to ensure we hire the most talented and qualified employees to join our growing, international team, in the heart of Berlin’s start-up scene.

REQUIREMENTS

We want you as a Talent Acquisition Specialist, if you have:

  • At least 2 years of in-house, full cycle recruiting experience, and you are versed in screening resumes and quickly assessing applicants;
  • A verifiable track record of having successfully recruited multiple employees across a variety of roles including IT positions;
  • Know-how in approaching and engaging software engineers in an efficient and satisfactory recruitment process;
  • Experience with approaching both active candidates (job boards, recruitment events) and contacting passive talent (direct search);
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems to maintain an overview and track your success;
  • Knowledge on how to deal with varied profiles and engage with different candidates in interesting conversations;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, our company-wide language – other languages are a plus;
  • An outstanding optimism and an insatiable hunger when it comes to achieving results, but most of all: you love people!

 

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will:

  • Team up with our hiring managers to deeply understand the unique requirements for the open positions and how they fit the present team;
  • Own the full recruiting cycle including job postings, active sourcing, application review, coordination of interview schedules, interviewing, gathering feedback from other interviewers, communicating closely with the candidates and influencing the final decision of the recruitment process;
  • Manage the candidate experience from initial conversations through the offer negotiations;
  • Leverage existing talent acquisition channels and explore new sourcing opportunities;
  • Be involved in the implementation of new recruiting strategies to find the best team members who fit the role from a technical view, without neglecting the importance of finding someone that meets SumUp’s relaxed yet highflyer culture;
  • Attend, help organize and host tech events;
  • Be evolved in employer branding activities;
  • Play a crucial role at SumUp’s growth and development!
