The opportunity
Backbase, the world leader in omni-channel banking software, is looking for a Marketing Automation Specialist. Backbase is a young, fast-growing fintech company with serious growth ambitions. We make digital transformations a reality for the world’s largest banks. To support our growth, we want to improve our demand generation activities with more effective marketing automation. It is our ambition to create high quality interactions with decision makers at our target accounts, and we want to do so across multiple digital channels.
This role is based in Amsterdam and reports to the Marketing Director.
What will you be doing?
You will be responsible for leveraging our marketing content to grow demand across multiple digital channels. Your work will help us increase the number of leads and improve the conversion from marketing-qualified leads to sales-qualified leads. You will manage our marketing automation system and increase the effectiveness of campaigns and events. You will improve lead scoring and focus the efforts of our salespeople on high quality leads. You will manage ad spend on social media and analyze ad spend effectiveness. Your work will set new best practices for our organization.
Who are you?
You have 3-5 years’ experience in marketing automation and demand generation in business-to-business markets.
You have experience with marketing automation platforms, Google Analytics, content marketing platforms and campaign administration. Experience with Marketo is strongly preferred.
You are an expert in Pay-per-Click advertising, bid optimization and lead-scoring programs.
You have in-depth knowledge of search engine optimization, A/B testing, email marketing, and social media marketing.
You have strong analytical skills and you can communicate clearly and concisely about your work.
