CrossLend purchases single loan receivables in different asset classes from banks, securitizes them one-by-one and places the resulting bonds to institutional investors. About the role

CrossLend is looking for a Head of Marketing (m/f) who has extensive knowledge in finance, a high level of creativity, is a thought leader and masters excellent project management skills. The successful candidate will have a 360° marketing experience including content creation, establishing lead generation campaigns from ground-up, sourcing and managing potential events and leading our PR and communications within the financial realm. This role comes with a high level of potential to shape the future direction of the company and you’ll be expected to pro-actively suggest proposals to our executives that bring the business forward.

Job Description

  • As Head of Marketing (m/f), you will position CrossLend in the market as the leading FinTech for innovative securitisation solutions
  • Manage our lead generating efforts, including marketing-qualified leads by converting site traffic through calls-to-actions, landing pages and lead generation content
  • Identify, organize and attend industry relevant events with the team in order to raise brand-awareness and generate new business for CrossLend
  • Develop our overall go to-all market strategy and strategic territory plans (focus markets) through deep market research and suggest the most effective channels to market CrossLend´s value proposition
  • Analyse  and assess CrossLend´s offering through extensive research and optimise our value proposition based on feedback from our target audience and sales cycles outcome
  • Identify strategic partners in the market that CrossLend should be working with and could result into a multiplier network
  • Lead our content efforts, by having a heavy appearance on social media networks and coordinating with our content creators where appropriate
  • Establish closed-loop analytics with Sales, Business Development and Product to define and track important KPIS which help understand how our inbound and offline marketing as well as PR activity turns into customers
  • Manage all PR and branding activities through working with our external agency
  • Hold Marketing budgeting responsibility
  • You will report to CrossLend´s CEO, Oliver Schimek and liaise with our Business Development team for the overall company strategy and implement fundamental growth

Requirements

  • At least 8 years ´s experience in B2B marketing experience ideally in a fast-paced and competitive environment
  • University degree in the related fields of Marketing, Business, Journalism or Finance
  • Highly proficient English required, German and/or other European languages would be a plus
  • Ideally you have been in a similar position to this one before
  • Background in financial services is a must
  • Strong understanding of effective PR and Marketing Communications
  • Your are a thought leader and evangelist in the future of financial services
  • Excellent project management, communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong experience with CRM and ability to provide business requirements to our Product team
