Role of IT in the banking sector is large. Indeed, the bank is now a real IT business. Maximize availability (24/7) service is crucial. Similarly, the security of banking and the ability to continuously implement digital innovations. IT has been for years the mandate within the Volksbank technology choices and solutions and we work with a state-of-the-art IT landscape.
What are you going to do?
Agile Architecture: What does this mean in practice? As more organizations also have the IT department of the People's Bank made the move to agile working. This has already been implemented in many development teams. Given the size of the credit union, you see that there is more demand over these development teams to harmonization and alignment, but this is often done yet traditional and not agile. Here are meanwhile already developed several models and theories. But how can the translation of such a framework to the Volksbank look now? Given our current organization, functions and roles. And also: how do you now, Big Bang or how it may gradually, and if so, how?
More specifically the Department of Architecture: what does it mean for the field of architecture?
In this command, you study how the architectural process can be better integrated into the agile process. How do we get a Big Upfront Design an architecture that fits in agile teams and processes? You make clear what this means for the products and the role and skills of the architect.
