Finance & Risk and Strategic Asset
Finance & Risk is an important contribution to the control Vande Volksbanken achieving its strategic objectives. We take care of identifying and managing financial risks, financial planning and reporting and maintain contacts with regulators. We manage the balance both on client products and the financial markets. We encourage other departments to proactively and we take care of the validation of models. We are looking for talents our Finance & Risk traineeship to contribute to this.
The Finance & Risk Traineeship
During Finance & Risk your traineeship work two years to your professional developments to yourself. We provide this an appropriate individual program. It consists of four missions every six months you own shapes, but of course in line with your objectives.
Within the traineeship learn everything about the operation of the bank, the banking landscape in Europe and its interaction with national and international supervisor (ECB). You focus on strengthening our finance & risk expertise within the bank. Consider, for example Financial Risk, Modeling, Model Validation, Control, Accounting & Reporting, Balance Sheet Management, Financial Markets, etc.
About your development
At the start you will be assigned a mentor from senior management member in People Bench mentor supports both personal as content development and helps to build a network within our organization. Additionally, you will be accompanied by a trainee coordinator is your first contact and helps in all sorts of practical issues such as working conditions, evaluation and training. For each assignment, the client shall within the department for the necessary guidance. Furthermore you will get assigned a buddy. This is a trainee of the previous crop that will assist in the introduction phase with practical matters and that you can use as a source of information for experiences member in Volksbank.
For your personal development you go through an external program with the other trainees in your class. State your main personal development during the program and go to work on topics such as leadership, collaboration and influence. You are challenged to step out of your comfort zone and experiment with new behavior.
