DEGIRO is a leader in online investing. available since September 2013 for the retail market and has since grown incredibly hard. We offer our customers an online platform where they can trade financial products at very competitive rates in markets worldwide. Within two years, we have launched our platform in 18 European countries, we have opened offices in Sofia and Hong Kong and we have grown from 40 to 180 employees, including 100 at its headquarters in Amsterdam.


Would you like ambitious young prosessional play an important role in the growth of DEGIRO? Junior Business Tax Support will operate within the tax team at our headquarters in Amsterdam. From the tax department will support the business in devising, implementing and applying solutions to problems where taxation plays a role. As such, you form the link between tax and the commercial side of DEGIRO. In this role you will be responsible for their own projects and the space to develop yourself.

  • You participate in several cross-functional project, aimed at including commercial product development, the establishment of (tax) reports and client information;
  • You optimize, streamline and automate processes where taxation plays a role, such as the tax reclaim process and the customer identification process;
  • You will manage and maintain tax-driven products and services;
  • You maintain contacts with (foreign) tax (s) and partners DEGIRO regarding the tax business processes;
  • You work with various internal stakeholders such as IT, compliance, legal, risk, finance and operations;
  • Where necessary you will support other projects such tax transfer pricing documentation, tax compliance and tax reporting, and;
  • Follow the relevant fiscal and commercial developments and regulatory changes.


Skills / characteristics:

  • You're a self-starter;
  • You work easily in multidisciplinary teams;
  • You are critical and not afraid to give your opinion;
  • You have strong analytical skills;
  • You are fluent in English, both spoken and written is a must control other languages an advantage;
  • You are interested in / affinity with financial markets;
  • You are willing to deepen your tax knowledge and understanding of financial markets by attending internal and external training;
  • You are willing to travel occasionally.



  • You have completed at least a bachelor degree in tax, economic or business direction;
  • You have 0-3 years of relevant work experience;
  • You live in Amsterdam or nearby Amsterdam.
