To do that we’ll gather, enrich and leverage data about consumer’s mortgages to offer lenders new, more efficient ways to design and distribute products, and we’re building tools that let advisors truly manage their customer relationships and empower them to improve the service they can offer their clients.

We are entering an exciting growth stage and are looking to expand our sales team with the appointment of an experienced Business Development Manager.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in actively creating a sales pipeline, managing the end-to-end sales process from the initial prospecting through to the handover of the client to the implementation team. 

This is a hands-on position and we are looking for highly energetic, driven and goal-oriented individuals who are comfortable taking the initiative and working autonomously. Excellent communication skills are essential along with the ability to challenge and debate ideas.

The successful applicant will have excellent knowledge of the mortgage broking industry and experience within B2B sales - ideally within financial services.

In this role in a nutshell, you will:

  • Generate and qualify appropriate broking leads, make sales calls to new brokers, respond to inquiries by phone or via email, and follow up on all sales activities.
  • Use your deep understanding of the broking business to communicate convincingly the compelling attributes of the Dashly broker proposition, using sales presentations and product demos.
  • Discuss commercials and debate the financial benefits of the proposition, closing a sale by preparing and sharing the sales contract.

Skills specific to the post:

  • Excellent mortgage and broker industry knowledge essential.
  • Enthusiastic, likeable, and highly organised – possess a desire to constantly improve and introduce efficiencies to the selling process, sharing best practice internally.  
  • An ability to keep abreast of several moving conversations.
  • Excellent communication skills.
