Job Description


You’ll be powering Innovation
As a Technical Product Owner, you will have a responsibility delivering the full functional platform, understanding both business and IT requirements, creating balance between prioritized tasks for each sprint and delivering plans and estimation between the Product Team and the Development Team. 

You will hold a full product responsibility of new development and maintenance of the product with the help of product owners and product managers.

To be able to succeed in this role, you should make sure that the license to operate is kept intact and the work for it is planned and prioritized while striving for freeing up as much resource capacity as possible for the product department to build new features.
Your key tasks and responsibilities are:

  • Functional and non-functional requirements with input from PO and architects
  • Coordination/Facilitation of the prioritized projects (Envisioning Workshop) 
  • Making decisions in collaboration with UX regarding how business requirements should be implemented on the platform
  • Manage/Plan the backlog based on the received requirements from PO and IT 
  • Deciding team level priorities (based on 3 themes: Maintaining, Building-Product, Building-Tech)
  • Writing epics and high-level user stories
  • Coordination between different platforms as well as releases
  • Periodization the incidents, also driving incident resolution and prioritization the solution underlying problem.

You’ll be the one protecting the team from the outside interruptions and interactions, being available for the team to answer their business/customer related questions to ensure smooth and better process flow.

Your professional skills and experience form most of your qualifications, but it’s also your personality that makes the difference at Nets. 

We’re looking for someone who has the following experience:

  • You might have a background as a Developer or otherwise gained solid understanding of technology
  • You potentially have knowledge and experience on ecommerce payments, card payments, alternative payment methods, portals, reporting, gateway and acquiring
  • Excellent Agile credentials, you love working in fast moving dynamic working environments
  • You are solution oriented, well organised combined with motivation to drive success
  • Ability to work independently and autonomously, and interact and operate excellently within a small team of experts distributed throughout Europe
  • SAFe training with implementation experience
  • Fluent in a Scandinavian language (preferably Danish) and excellent English skills, both oral and in writing 
  • You are good at using your logical thinking skills and  you can finding yourself comfortable utilizing of modular thinking.


The key to success in this role is the good collaboration between all stakeholders incl. Product Owner, Product Manager, Technical Product Owner, Development Team and Scrum Master- and getting meaningful KPI´s that IT needs to deliver to product on.
