We started iZettle with a single mission: to empower small-business owners to sell smarter by offering them the tools typically reserved for bigger players. We are looking for the best and brightest to help us get it done. Our fast-growing start-up was founded in 2010 and currently has approximately 430 employees across its 12 operating countries, with offices in Amsterdam, Berlin, London, Madrid, Mexico City, Sao Paulo, Edinburgh and Stockholm (HQ).

As a User Experience Designer you will be an important link in the product development at iZettle. You will be shaping beautifully crafted experiences for our users across platforms, based on user insights and business requirements. You have probably done several years at a digital agency or a product company and are passionate about working with complex flows and intuitive interfaces.

At iZettle you'll spend your days working in one of our multi-disciplinary product teams, together with product owners, visual designers, developers, testers and analysts. You will work with everything from brand new functionality to improvements of our existing products.

  • Meet with our users across all our markets; observe their needs and translate them into design solutions.
  • Be an ambassador of our users and share user insights within the company.
  • Co-own the design process together with our visual designers in the product team you work in.
  • Do mock-ups and quick prototypes to test and iterate new ideas.

  • +5 years of interaction/ UX design/ service design from a digital agency or a product company.
  • Experience of working quick and dirty across multiple platforms (web, app, hardware).
  • Great attention to detail and ability to work autonomously.
  • Used to working in an agile team with developers.
  • Pragmatic approach to UX design (”gut feeling” mentality).
  • Good communication skills.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written.

Extra plus for:

  • Language skills, other than English.
  • Experience working with other countries and cultures.
