We started iZettle with a single mission: to empower small-business owners to sell smarter by offering them the tools typically reserved for bigger players. We are looking for the best and brightest to help us get it done. Our fast-growing start-up was founded in 2010 and currently has approximately 430 employees across its 12 operating countries, with offices in Amsterdam, Berlin, London, Madrid, Mexico City, Sao Paulo, Edinburgh and Stockholm (HQ).

The world of social media is developing at a high pace. We’re looking for a social media native who lives in this brave new world, loves to chat and make friends within it and knows how to build a community.

The community manager role sits within the Marketing & Communications team which works towards the objective of making iZettle a household name for small businesses world wide.

Responsibilities:

  • Write, write, write - create and distribute content according to the social media strategy and keeping the social calendar updated.
  • Chat, chat, chat - work actively with outreach, find relevant conversations and act on them.
  • Keep the publication schedule updated and make it happen.
  • Suggest possible opportunities derived from social trends and campaign learnings.
  • Assist the Customer Engagement team with their support activities on social. Ensure that we leave no comment or question behind.
  • Work with the entire global iZettle organisation for inspiration, ideas and information sourcing.
  • Keep track of our KPIs for social and gather data/learnings from all markets.

Requirements:

  • Social media native.
  • Outstanding communication skills, written and oral (native English, other languages are highly meriting).
  • Love interacting with new people and confident when starting conversations.  
  • Proven creative skills.
  • Rigorous attention to detail and focus on quality of deliverables.
  • Have experience from working hands-on with Social Media and community building.
  • Have experience working with relevant metrics (CPM, Engagement, Video Views etc.) and KPI’s in general.
