Do you have a passion for analyzing data, creating interactive web visualizations or are you awesome at processing data at scale, then we are looking for you! We are on the hunt for a software developer data analytics.

We are looking for an enthusiastic data scientist or analytical developer who is passionate about data, algorithms and developing state-of-the-art web applications that can help us become the world best fraud-busters.

The main aim of the FRISS system is to deliver the best possible risk and fraud screenings for insurers. The outcome of a screening is something we call the FRISS score, which in turn is used by insurers worldwide to make faster and better business decisions.

Our job

We are looking for a data enthusiast with a passion for developing state-of-the-art interactive web applications tailored to analyzing, visualizing and processing insurance data. 

As a Software Developer Data Analytics you’ll be working in an interdisciplinary Agile/Scrum based team, comprised of Data Scientists, Business Analysts, Software and DevOps Engineers. 

Requirements

Technology pack

  • We use both open source products from the Linux stable and Microsoft technologies based on .Net
  • We use R and Python as our main tools for data analysis
  • We use JavaScript and Shiny, an R web application framework, for frontend development of our apps
  • For our backend processing we use both traditional SQL databases like Microsoft SQL Server and NoSQL We use databases such as MongoDB, Neo4j and Elasticsearch
  • We love cloud solutions like AWS and Azure, but we mostly work in private cloud scenarios or on premise. For analyzing large volumes of data we’re more than interested in using Apache SPARK
  • For visualization libraries we like d3.js, vis.js and or plotly.js
  • We like the micro-services concept and are building RESTful APIs, using asynchronous messaging
  • To run all our apps in different environments we’ve embraced Docker for containerization We use Octopus for deployment.

  • Familiar with at least a subset of the above-mentioned technologies
