Our fast-growing start-up was founded in 2010 and currently has approximately 430 employees across its 12 operating countries, with offices in Amsterdam, Berlin, London, Madrid, Mexico City, Sao Paulo, Edinburgh and Stockholm (HQ).

We are looking for a Loyalty & Upsell Marketing Automation Specialist determined to make our fast-growing user-base of iZettle merchants stay loyal and love us even more! 

To succeed in this role you consider communication an extension of product and are dedicated to make an impact on our users' habits. Through strategic and tactical e-communication you push that design, product offerings and user journeys exceed our users expectations and increase their satisfaction, loyalty and advocacy.

We are looking for someone who is curious about understanding our community of merchants from every angle and an interest in optimizing up-selling. You will be part of the Customer Engagement Communications team (CE Comms) but in order to drive change you work closely with Marketing, Sales, Product and UX/User-journey to share insights, align communication and drive user-centricity in all touch points.

Key Responsibilities

  • Increase retention and prevent churn by driving deeper engagement and activity throughout the entire customer lifecycle and advocating the whole iZettle product portfolio 
  • Educate our users on iZettle's product portfolio and continuously optimize upselling
  • Optimize the post-registration marketing funnel and user communication
  • Analyze customer behaviour and survey customers to identify triggers, itches and improvement areas.
  • Develop, implement and optimize automated customer lifecycle programs (e.g. adoption and loyalty programs)
  • Constantly monitor and optimize internal KPI’s such as activity, satisfaction and churn.

Desired skills and experience

  • +2 years experience from Digital Marketing, Marketing Automation, CRM strategy, Campaign Management, Market Research, Loyalty Management or a related area
  • Experience in driving user behavior and up-and cross sell
  • Experience from Marketing Automation and/or CRM Software (e.g Carma, Iterable, Salesforce or similar)
  • Data driven, analytical and strong in digital communication
  • Fluency in English
  • Degree in marketing, business or related discipline.
