"Do we just have to set up a bank?" THE DEPARTMENT

The IT department consists of all kinds of specialized colleagues in a multidisciplinary team. Together they are responsible for the security, performance, stability and continuity of Knab's IT services. The IT department has the ambition to automate and optimize work for ourselves and our colleagues as much as possible. 

In recent years we have set up a new bank. In the coming years, we expect ambitious growth: we want to enable as many people as possible to make conscious choices for their financial future through our platform. Our Continuous Delivery platform to a next level is definitely part of it. Where Agile works and DevOps minded are boundary to achieve our goal.

THE FUNCTION

Het beheren en aansturen van de leverancierscontracten behoort tot de taken van eigen Knab ICT Afdeling. Hiermee is zij de liaison tussen de business afdelingen en de uitvoerende ICT leveranciers en voorziet een goede delivery.

Op basis van best practices en zelfoplossend vermogen draag je zorg voor het tevreden houden van interne en externe klanten in ons AutomationTeam en help je Knab om haar klanten nog beter te kunnen bedienen.

Als Applicatiebeheerder ben je reactief bezig met het analyseren en structureel oplossen van 3e lijns incidenten en problemen t.a.v. technische en functionele requirements. Je gaat op onderzoek naar de oorzaak en stelt oplossingsrichtingen voor in termen van te ontwikkelen of aan te passen software. Je beweegt je makkelijk door de organisatie heen en je hebt contact met externe leveranciers. Hierbij is je doel om de impact van 3e lijns incidenten en problemen te minimaliseren en te zorgen dat ze niet opnieuw optreden (duurzame oplossingen). Je werkt als 3e lijnsondersteuning achter de skilled helpdesk.

In je rol werk je nauw samen met de Problem Manager om tot een efficiënte en adequate functionele inrichting te komen van de applicaties.

YOUR KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

  • You have a WO or HBO work and thinking level (eg Computer Science or Technical Business Studies).
  • You have experience with automating both the DEV and the OPS side.
  • You have experience with planning (Agile) work.
  • You have good technical knowledge of ICT infrastructure and you know it all about SQLdatabases (Oracle, SQLServer) and possibly NoSQL datastores (RavenDB).
  • You have knowledge of ICT frameworks (eg: ITIL, CoBIT, ASL, BISL).
  • You have good knowledge of banking processes (or you have the willingness to learn this through NIBE).
  • You are excellent in Dutch and English.
