Job Description

Job Description:

What will you do?
NIBC’s Mezzanine and Equity Partners (MEP) team is looking for an intern for a period of three months starting as soon as possible but no later than October 1 - 2017. The main assignment (which can be the basis for a Bachelors or Master thesis) will be to create a pricing model for mezzanine debt. Mezzanine debt is typically the most junior debt in the capital structure and often includes equity like features such as rights and warrants. Pricing mezzanine debt can be either on a theoretical basis (e.g. using CAPM theory) or a market implied basis (i.e. based on benchmarking on data available in the markets). Whatever approach the candidate choses, the outcome pricing should be market-conform (i.e. pricing should not be unrealistically high or low).

  • Self-starting and enjoy working in a demanding environment.
  • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication.
  • Good command of the Dutch language.
  • Strong drive, ambition and determination.
  • Result oriented; 'getting things done' mentality, business sense.
  • Flexible team player.

Our purpose is to make a difference at decisive moments for our clients. The inventiveness of our solutions often determines our ability to do this. And inventive ideas arise from diverse teams. We are therefore looking for people with different profiles and who want to contribute to the openness and inclusiveness of our culture. A high performance culture can only be sustained with talented individuals who are always ready to take the next step to grow. See also:
