What do we expect of an Enterprise Architect?

As an Enterprise Architect you develop, maintain and realize the corporate NIBC IT vision, strategy and enterprise architecture that encompasses the architectural domains: business processes (together with Process Consultants), information/data, application landscape, infrastructure landscape (incl. tooling and integration) and IT services. You develop launches, innovate and manage the portfolio and lifecycle of IT services in line with the business needs.

As an Enterprise Architect you:

  • Are responsible for the NIBC IT strategy
  • Develop a long term view on the enterprise architecture based on the business strategy
  • Develop standards and policies for the IT strategy
  • Define linkages and alignment between NIBC IT strategy and NIBC BU strategy
  • Develop and maintain the IT service portfolio plan and roadmap in close corporation with IT competencies, Business and IT strategy
  • Develop a multi annual overview of current, planned and end-of-life application domains

What do you need?

The must-haves

  • University degree in Business Administration, Business Information Management or similar
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of Architecture Frameworks, such as TOGAF, Zachman, DYA
  • Experience with Archimate
  • Experience with Process Engineering
  • You have the ability to read, write and speak in Dutch and English fluently

  • Preferred knowledge: Business Process Model & Notation (BPMN)
