Accounting Specialist

Department and team

The department Business Control & Finance (BCF) comprises four expert centers one of these expert centers is the Business Finance Team. This team focuses on internal and external reporting regarding gross margin and assets under management. An important area of attention is the calculation of trailer fees, which are paid to our distribution partners. A smooth calculation cycle requires interaction with numerous stakeholders, which requires excellent communication skills. We are looking for a specialist who is able to accurately perform recurring duties, but in addition is also able to contribute to the team’s continuous effort to improve processes.



As a Accounting Specialist, you will:
  • Set up, maintain and validate rebate agreements in the commissions system 
  • Be responsible for the periodic calculation, payment, and release process 
  • Review monthly holdings, gross fees and commission accruals 
  • Reconcile clients’ own invoices/calculations and results out of the commissions system 
  • Respond to client/sales office queries 
  • Provide analysis and commentary to finance teams 
  • Maintain accurate procedures 
  • Actively contribute to our continuous improvement process


  • Bachelor degree in Economics or Finance
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role 
  • Very good skills in English and preferably one additional European language
  • Excellent skills in MS Office Suite 
  • Good time and self-management skills, ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Analytical and highly numerate
  • Communicative, collaborative, team player, and proactive
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and service oriented
  • Highly organized with the ability to work independently
