In 2016, iZettle expanded its commerce platform with the acquisition of intelligentpos an innovative, easy to use, iPad based based point of sale solution. iZettle Group is investing heavily in the local operations in Edinburgh to position intelligentpos as the group’s lead POS offering for small businesses in the retail and hospitality space.

As a PPC/ SEM specialist you will also be a virtual member of our Stockholm-based team of high performing experts working with customer acquisition through online channels such as SEO, PPC, remarketing, social, mobile, display and our affiliate program. You will report directly to the Digital Marketing Manager and be involved in setting goals, budget and KPI’s for all markets and track performance accordingly. The role requires a candidate with a strong track record from search engine marketing and working with bid management tools (preferably DoubleClick).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of Google AdWords and Bing Ads paid search campaigns.
  • Performing keyword research for new campaigns or campaign expansions.
  • Development of a re-marketing programme including identifying a suitable platform(s), such as Criteo, and ensuring tracking pixels are properly placed and tracking correctly.
  • Ongoing optimisation of existing Search / Display / YouTube campaigns, development of new ones as well as continuous performance monitoring with reporting and tracking tools.
  • Ensure content is optimized across all platforms and user experiences (websites, mobile, social, video, blogs etc).
  • Steering of the SEM campaigns towards given performance targets.
  • A/B and multivariable testing of ads, landing pages and new ideas and the regular evaluation of new features and betas.
  • Perform search marketing competitor analysis.
  • Evaluate, choose, implement and maintain tools used for tracking and measuring results.
  • Close collaboration with our local partners, e.g. Google, Bing.
  • Keeping track of trends in online marketing and SEM in particular.
  • Liaise with other online channels to deliver on cross-functional projects.

Key Experience:

  • Strong knowledge and experience on Google Adwords, Google Analytics, Google Tag Mnager, Facebook Insights, Webmaster Tools and others.
  • Goolge AdWords and Google Analytics certification a plus.
  • Ideally university degree in economics, mathematics, finance, engineering or similar.
  • Highly motivated and genuinely interested in online marketing.
  • At least 1-3 years of work experience of managing Search / Display / YouTube campaigns with a strong track record.
  • Experience from Adwords & Bing editor, bid management tools etc.
  • Advanced Excel skills. You are familiar with pivot tables, vlookup and comparable functions. Strong analytical mindset and attention to details
  • Experience from working with relevant metrics (CPA/CAC, LTV, PBT) and KPI’s.
  • You are a team player. As a member of an international team you are able to keep up a regular, close and active exchange with your international colleagues.
  • You are fast processing, reliable, proactive and highly motivated. You work in a structured and detail-oriented way.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Willingness to travel (this role will require semi-frequent travel to Stockholm, including an initial training period there of 2-4 weeks).
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS and Javascript development and constraints.
  • You are interested in the latest web trends and technologies.

Desirable Experience:

  • Experience from a POS business, and/or payments/finance.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Experience of working in international environments.
  • One or more of the following languages: French, Dutch, German
