Job Description

The department Operations, part of Triodos Investment Management BV, has the responsibility to a number of disciplines concerning operations and organization alignment, such as portfolio administration, product management, project (portfolio) management and business analysis / ICT.

Smooth operational execution (as efficient and effective as possible) becomes increasingly important in order to execute our commercial vision, manage our growth in a controlled way and act on operational opportunities.

Business Process Management Advisor (32-40 hours a week)

The position is based in Zeist, The Netherlands. Applicants must have or obtain a valid work permit for the European Union.



Your responsibilities

The business process management advisor (BPM Advisor) is the central point within Triodos Investment Management to keep the overview of the business processes and their quality, identify opportunities for and initiate improvements, and facilitate process improvements within Triodos Investment Management. You work with all departments, detect the ‘grey areas’ and emphasize on working together in the overall processes. Specific tasks are: provide training, stimulate and challenge department teams in process improvements, ensure timely approvals, communicate and report on progress and results, ensure documentation standards, maintain high-level process documentation.


You work in close cooperation with (senior) management, end users and/or external parties to identify and follow-up on relevant operational risks and process improvements. You provide solicited and unsolicited advice on processes to the management. You will advise and coach colleagues in their personal growth to successfully complete the processes for which they are accountable.


In time, the scope of the responsibilities may be expanded to the support for the project (portfolio) management methodology, such as setting-up and monitoring the strategic and tactical project portfolio and quality of the project management. You will report to the Head of Product Management, Ingeborg Nefkens.

What do you bring?

  • A successfully completed Academic degree (preference in Business Process Management)
  • 8+ years of professional experience in the financial sector with at least 4 years of relevant experience in business process improvements; Lean Black Belt and Prince II;
  • Knowledge of Investment Management and ISAE3402 certification is a pre;
  • Excellent language skills in Dutch and English, both written and orally
