Full time Information Technology Product Manager

Job Description

Klarna is one of Europe’s fastest growing companies, offering secure payment solutions for products and services purchased online. Within our client portfolio, we have some of Europe’s largest E-Commerce organizations and partners and we have no plans to slow down. To keep up with our ambition we are recruiting a new Implementation Manager / Technical Project Lead. This really is a key recruitment.

What you will be doing
Based out of our Amsterdam office you will be an integral part of our Technical Sales department in the Netherlands. In this role you will take lead and supervise the integrations between our payment options and the shop- and ERP systems of our large merchants and partners.

As technical project lead you are responsible for the entire implementation process from initially guiding the integration concept all the way to final acceptance of the integration by all parties. Additionally you will have responsibility for coordinating maintenance and ongoing improvements of these solutions with our partners once we are live. Needless to say you will play a key role in our operation, with touch points to our sales, customer support and product teams.

With a sense for usability you take care that our solutions are presented to customers in the best-possible way and deliver a robust performance.

Who you are
With so many internal and external stakeholders to deal with you need to be the kind of person that thrives from social interaction. You have a deep technical knowledge and you are able to communicate to technical and non-technical audiences alike, always making sure that everyone is on the same page and working together towards the same goal and deadline. Besides these skills we would like you to have:

  • A degree in a technical and/or business oriented field (e.g. Business Information System, Web Information Systems, Computer Science, etc.)
  • Technical know-how and well-founded knowledge in, and passion for, project-management.
  • Experience with web-technologies and interfaces, ideally experience with current web shop-systems and content-management-systems.

Furthermore some of the strongest assets in your toolbox are your presentation skills and ability to communicate effortlessly in both Dutch and English, if you also happen to speak German we won’t hold it against you.

You like to travel and although you might not have worked in a global organization before you are excited about the idea to have cross border collaboration as a part of your daily work. You are an organized individual and when we call your references they will most likely tell us that you are the go to person for a status update and that you are always, always on top of your stuff.

We offer you a chance to be part of an organization that aspires to be more than just great; we want to re-shape the way that the world buys online. You will work with some of the best minds in the industry in one of the most dynamic work environments you likely ever experienced and you will never be short of challenges and opportunities to develop. You will work at the core of what drives our business forward with diversified partners and customers where no day will be like the previous one.

We are not going to lie, this job is not for everyone. At Klarna we proud ourselves on flexible structures, short decision-ways and flat hierarchies. If you want to know exactly what is going to happen to you on any given work day, have a rigid mandate and confined responsibilities you probably won’t like it here. If, however, you want to make an impact, grow as a professional and work for a fast growing international company in an exciting market, we suggest you click the “apply” button.

For questions please contact Mathias Timell, we suggest you submit your application as soon as possible as selection and interviews are held continually.
