With solid growth and an ever-expanding team of experts, Payvision is looking to grow its Amsterdam team with an analytical, enthusiastic and proactive (Jr.) Product Owner/Business Analyst. As a (Jr.) PO/BA you will be responsible for product planning and product analyses. This includes managing the product throughout the product lifecycle, gathering requirements and prioritizing product and customer requirements, and working closely with development teams, to deliver winning products. The (Jr.) PO/BA will work with two pillars within our Card Processing on core card processing and -gateway. You will be the interface between technology teams, support teams, and business units. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, business intelligence, and a full understanding of the needs of the customer. From the business input you get, you can analyze the business needs and write the epics, features and user stories.

  • Translate business requirements to system/functional requirements
  • Understanding business requirements and translating them into specific software requirements
  • Ability to effectively communicate with external clients and internal teams to deliver GUI, interface and screen designs
  • Creating project agile planning according to business goals, development and infrastructure constraints
  • Writing epics and features based on internal/ external costumer input, stakeholder input and business analysis
  • Work closely with a Scrum Team or External Teams on the backlog and create business insights needed
  • Being part of all the necessary Sprint activities (grooming, planning, stand-ups, retrospectives etc.)
  • Manage all stakeholder expectations


We request:

  • Bachelor level degree
  • Minimum of 1 year work experience in a PO or a Business Analyst role within the financial/ acquiring/ omnichannel area
  • Fluency in English (Dutch and Spanish are a plus)
  • Strong collaboration, social and communication skills
  • An understanding of technicalities (not necessarily in detail), prioritizing and administrating
  • Strong learning attitude, proactive and hands on mentality
