The Role

This is a critical role at Rangewell as it is both client – and lender-facing and as such requires a detail-oriented mindset, a dedication to work through the various obstacles that may arise in the financing process, and a desire to be part of a team growing something exceptional.

You will be responsible for many things (as is the case at a high-growth startup) but most specifically you will be responsible for:

  • Proactive deal progression, managing all aspects of packaging deals to send to business lenders in conjunction with the Business Development Managers.
  • Managing a pipeline of potential and actual business loan applications whilst managing the expectations of our customers and business lenders in a timely manner.
  • Making outbound calls to progress, manage and provide accurate case updates at all points in the loan application to both lenders and borrowers.
  • Maintaining control of the credit and legal documentation whilst ensuring all amendments and changes are properly executed.
  • Securing, extending, processing and closing loan offers in a detail oriented, compliant and diligent manner.

 

Desired Skills & Experience

The ideal candidate will have experience in asset finance, leasing, and/or banking. Experience will ideally include:

  • Asset based lending account management experience.
  • Minimum 5 years overall experience in commercial and/or asset based lending, with knowledge of financial analysis, loan structuring and key documentation issues.
  • Non-bank finance, independent company experience preferred but commercial bank ABL experience will be considered.
  • Strong organisational skills with ability to multi-task and prioritise deadlines in a fast paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Strong credit, analytical, written/verbal communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of management.
  • Strong attention to detail, track record of a diligent working style and some form of experience using CRM systems to manage, track and organise daily activities.
