Who we are

Starling is a bank – but not as you know it. We are building a platform that will change the current approach to banking, whilst giving our customers the opportunity to feel more in control of their everyday money and financial wellbeing. To support our thriving growth, we are looking to recruit a graduate to join our Payment Operations team.

What you’ll be doing

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Working alongside the Project Manager to support the implementation of payment schemes, to include SEPA
  • Collaborating with engineers and other teams to solve problems collectively
  • Ensuring that payment policies and procedures are regularly updated and reflect any regulatory changes
  • Consistently working to a high-quality standard, whilst meeting tight deadlines
  • Remaining up-to-date with the latest developments and requirements across the payments sector


Who you are

Starling recognise that graduate applicants are at the beginning of their career journeys, so we don’t have a long list of requirements where skills and experience are concerned as there will be plenty of room to develop in this role.

We are looking for someone with a strong ability to take ownership for new projects and work independently. Interpersonal skills, excellent organisation and being able to adapt and be flexible in a fast-moving work environment are just some of the competencies that we value most.
