Job Description

We’re looking for a Technical Project Manager with technical know-how to manage and advise our enterprise customers. As a crucial member of Tinks Enterprise Team you will work closely with partner Banks and Financial Institutions throughout the entire application lifecycle. In your role, you will advise them during the planning phase of new projects, manage the implementation of our solutions and support them when they have our systems operating in production. As a champion for the Tink Solution you will challenge and support our current and future customers, and while doing so, shape the future of Retail Banking.

The Technical Project Manager (TPM) functions as part of the Tink Enterprise team to ensure enterprise customer success in building applications and services around the Tink solution. The TPM assists the customer by providing technical advice on the full line of Tink services and the customer’s architecture while supporting strategy questions, project planning and implementation management, as well as potential ongoing operational issues. TPM's are engaged at the account level in providing recommendations and proactive advice through all phases of the implementation lifecycle.

In order to be successful in this role, you must possess customer facing skills that enable you to represent Tink well within a customer’s organization. You know how to facilitate discussions with senior personnel, and do so well based on your own knowledge or by leveraging the expertise of your colleagues, regardless if it is architectural decisions, incidents, trade-offs, best practices, or risk management. You should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges. You have a strong ability to lead projects and ensure stakeholder alignment. In this role, you will also act as the voice of the customer within Tink to escalate problems and to drive prioritization of business needs for our customers.


  • Engage with customers to understand business needs.
  • Manage the implementation of our solutions in customer systems.
  • Complete analysis and present periodic reviews of operational performance to customer.
  • Provide detailed reviews of service disruptions, metrics, detailed pre-launch planning.
  • Champion and advocate for customer requirements within Tink (be their voice).
  • Work directly with Tink engineers to ensure that customer issues are resolved as expediently as possible.

Required Qualifications

  • 3/5+ years design/implementation/project experience of distributed applications.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Computer Science or Math background highly desired; working knowledge of software development practices and technologies highly desired.
  • Experience in leading complex tech projects.
  • Strong customer focus and bias for action.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience from finance, tech or other complex environments.
  • Experience from IT consultancy firms or managing large scale IT implementations.
  • Experience in one or more of: C, C++, C#, Java, Perl, Python, Go.
  • Experience with databases and SQL
