Job Description
Key Role Responsibilities
- Cover Europe time zone for system administration,
- Responsible for administrating cloud based infrastructure,
- Database administration with Amazon RDS,
- Webserver administration (Apache, Nginx),
- Load balancer, Proxy server administration (HAProxy, ELB, ALB),
- System daily operation and backups,
- System monitoring and troubleshooting,
- Explore, learn and deploy new technologies that will help the company to reduce cost or improve operational inefficiencies, and
- Network administration.
Essential Experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience, in system administration,
- Linux servers (CentOS) administration,
- AWS cloud management,
- High availability system maintenance,
- Command line interface, shell scripting,
- Basic network knowledge (TCP, UDP, HTTP),
- Proven track record of delivering results,
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills,
- Strong relationship building skills,
- Driven to deliver personal best,
- Excellent organisation skills, ability to work under pressure and manage priorities, and
- Strong influencing skills.
Desired Experience
- PostgreSQL database administration, and
- Configuration management tools (Ansible).
