The Website Designer/Developer we are looking for will be a rare breed. The perfect blend of developer, web designer and marketer in one super smart individual who will own the brand experience across our digital real estate. Equally comfortable talking tech with our developers as they are ROI and campaign analytics with marketing, this role sits at the heart of our growth plans for 2017 and beyond.

The role reports in to the VP Marketing who is based in London.

This role can either be based at our New York or London office.

The details...

  • Help us maximize our use of technology to create a truly digital marketing experience for prospects, clients and employees.
  • Bring our brand to life and create an amazing user experience across our EMEA and US websites and our Help and Developer Centers.
  • Responsible for the day-to-day management (including design and build) of our digital assets, primarily our websites as well as all future developments of the website and other digital platforms.
  • Work with key stakeholders across the business to build a developer marketing strategy that builds a credible top of mind brand amongst the developer community so that we: 1) become the default employer of choice for developers; and 2) we are truly able to differentiate ourselves on our technical capabilities.

What skills & experience do I need?

  • Demonstrable portfolio of managing digital marketing activities for a B2B organization, preferably within the technology industry (Saas / Paas).
  • Solid web design and developer experience including Responsive web development, UI design skills and creating and collaborating on wireframes, storyboards, user flows and site maps.
  • Proficient in Jekyll, HTML5/CSS3, JavaScript, XML, SEO, GIT / Git Flow, Rest APIs and JSON, WordPress theme & plugin development, JS & jQuery
  • Excellent Photoshop and InDesign experience
  • Analytically minded with the ability to interrogate and manipulate data and spot patterns, trends and opportunities
  • Excellent working knowledge of Google Analytics (monthly reporting analysis and follow-up)
  • Highly numerical with a desire for making data driven decisions
  • Well integrated in the developer community, active on developer forums and networks like Stackoverflow, GitHub. Forrst, Bettercodes etc.
  • Excellent business English writing skills,
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial spirit, with a strong sense of accountability and high level of attention to detail.
  • Able to work independently and in a team.
  • Comfortable working in a start-up environment
