The Role

Our Marketing team is on the hunt for a Digital Marketing superstar!  The right person for the job will be strategic, analytical & customer-centric to develop solutions that maximize data driven strategies to grow & engage our user base. What you’ll do at Venmo:


  • Accountable for the development of the strategy, execution and performance of all growth marketing programs.
  • Develop & manage the holistic media plan and growth strategies to optimize across all owned, organic & paid digital channels.
  • Oversee campaign management and reporting, including in-depth analytics of ROI.
  • Responsible for meeting and exceeding customer acquisition and conversion growth goals through optimization and marketing campaigns.
  • Manage the overall relationship and serve as primary point of contact with our media agency partners & platform vendors.
  • Recommend & leverage the industry’s leading technology platforms that meet our objectives.
  • Partner with the analytics team to develop measurable and efficient campaigns.
  • Share weekly, monthly, quarterly insights and reports to the Venmo business. Highlight effectiveness of cross-channel campaigns and responsiveness of different audiences in order to inform optimization; including representation of Venmo at the PayPal Inc level. 
  • Oversee media budget management, media forecasts, outlook for spend, revenue and ROI
  • Develop digitally lead competitive analysis within the Finance industry. 

Key Skills and Experience

  • 5-7+ years of digital marketing experience
  • Solid experience in performance marketing with cross-channel/integrated digital marketing and revenue generating responsibilities.
  • Experience in scaling digital marketing programs, while driving efficiency and meeting acquisition & ROI targets.
  • Experience working within a centralized digital marketing role and/or digital marketing agency, working cross-functionally and cross-organizationally.
  • You have overseen app download activity, SEM, paid social and display to understand all the levers of running and growing a digital marketing program.
  • Demonstrated success in an innovative and agile high-growth environment.
  • A strong verbal and written communicator.
  • Highly analytical and comfortable with reporting and analysis of financial metrics.
  • Ability to demonstrate resourcefulness, motivation, initiative and leadership
