Job Description

CardFlight is looking for a Mobile Developer to join our Applications team. The Mobile Developer will be responsible for the development and maintenance of products for mobile devices on Android and iOS platforms. This is a great opportunity to be a part of a fast-growing startup, work collaboratively with other developers and have a big impact on the company. The Mobile Developer will report to the Applications Team Manager.

What You’ll Do

Developing & Building (80%)

  • Design, create, and support products for the iOS and Android platforms
  • Ensure quality and responsiveness of the products
  • Identify and fix any bugs or bottleneck issues
  • Work collaboratively with other developers in an agile environment

Customer Support (10%)

  • Assist Customer Support team with client-facing technical issues

Team Engagement (10%)

  • Get involved with company-wide meetings and outings
  • Become immersed in the payments industry
  • Obtain and maintain a full understanding of our clients’ needs

What You’ll Bring to the Table

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
  • 2+ years of experience working in a mobile development role using Objective-C and Swift
  • A willingness to learn new languages or technologies
  • Experience in mentoring other developers in industry best practices
  • The ability to take initiative and work independently with very little supervision
  • Superior people skills and a positive attitude
  • Strong attention to detail
  • The ability to be flexible and flourish in a fast-paced atmosphere while remaining focused, working productively, and successfully juggling many tasks

What We’d Love for You to Have

  • Experience working with both iOS and Android platforms
  • Experience in and/or knowledge of the mobile payments industry and technologies
