Lending Loop is looking for a smart, energetic, highly motivated Small Business Advisor to identify and qualify prospective new clients. You will need to adapt to a very fast paced environment which brings new challenges every day. You’ll be working with the team to help build the infrastructure for our outbound sales efforts.
Conduct the opening discussion for a financial product to small business owners;
Communicate our value proposition to potential borrowers;
Conduct research to source, identify and qualify prospective clients;
Following up on leads, moving them through the loan application process and collecting required documentation;
Identify key influencers within lead prospects and determine decision-making timeline;
Build and cultivate prospect relationships by initiating communication and conducting follow-up calls to move leads through sales funnel;
Conduct needs analysis to determine prospect pain points;
Manage a sales pipeline to consistently meet and exceed targets;
Create and maintain prospective client profiles in Salesforce.com; and
Respond to day-to-day inquiries from potential clients that may not be research-related.
Polished, professional written and verbal communication skills;
2 - 5 years in a sales related role;
Strong lead development skills;
Advanced ability to meet and/or exceed activity quotas;
Advanced ability to successfully call on C-Level prospects;
Proficiency with internet browsers and internet research;
Well-developed organizational and time management skills;
High level of detail orientation, follow-through, and accuracy;
Ability to excel in a fast-growth, changing environment;
Hustle and drive - willingness to call 100+ prospects per day;
High school diploma; and
Bachelor degree strongly preferred.
Experience with Salesforce.com;
Understanding of financial statements;
Knowledge of financial industry;
Team lead or managerial experience;
Examples of previous success including closing ratios, achieved quotas, average sale price and team performance rank where applicable
