Job Description

As our Customer Marketing Manager at Street Contxt, an 8VC backed company, you will be tasked with the challenge of tightening our connection to our customers through a broad spectrum of marketing strategies. In this opportunity you will exercise your creativity to build rapport with our customers; assisting with licensing renewals, creating referral clients, and pursuing cross-sell and upsell opportunities. Along the way you will collaborate with our Customer Success and Account Management functions to identify key customers to act as a marketing channel through case studies of their experiences, speaking opportunities and other forms of social validation.   This role represents the opportunity to get in early with a growing Sales & Marketing team and establish yourself as a core contributor. You will be working directly with our Sales leadership and helping our team meet business objectives through a broad spectrum of customer advocacy initiatives. You will be producing content to ensure our customers’ learning keeps pace with the enhancement of our products, and that they are getting the most out of Street Contxt throughout the relationship lifecycle. This mission will see you creating content, copy and emails to assist Customer Success with their communications with customers, managing and maintaining engagement and advocacy programs, managing a library of up-to-date customer success stories, and continually recruiting new customer advocates.   You will be intimately connected to our customers, and our team will want to hear what you have learned at every step of the way. You will execute customer satisfaction surveys at regular-recurring intervals, and the data you gather will drive change throughout our entire organization. You will be responsible for developing customer lifecycle campaigns and collaborating with diverse functions within Street Contxt to implement these programs. Representing the voice of the customer internally also means you will be working with Account Management and Customer Success to help at-risk customers with training, and working with Product Management to equip our Engineering teams with invaluable product feedback.

 

Your know-how

    • You have exceptional interpersonal skills as evidenced by your talent for nurturing customer relationships and working with cross-functional teams
    • You are analytical, quantitative, and excited by the opportunity to test these skills to determine the effectiveness and ROI of customer engagement efforts
    • You are a strategic thinker who looks beyond day-to-day responsibilities to help your team reach goals, strengthen a brand, and constantly improve the customer experience
    • You have previous experience with Customer Service, Customer Success, or Account Management
    • You are technically savvy and up to date on the latest digital marketing tools and channels including Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Marketing Automation platforms
    • You have experience creating and executing marketing campaigns that drive customer engagement and advocacy
    • You are creative, compelling and are capable of writing effective copy
    • You are experienced with B2B marketing, lead generation, and sales processes
    • You hold a bachelor’s degree with an emphasis on communications, marketing, or business

    • You have worked in a startup focused on enterprise software
    • You have started your own company before
    • You have experience working alongside engineers and delivery teams
    • You have been involved in selling and implementing software solutions
    • You have working experience with Salesforce or comparable Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
    • You have working experience with Pardot or comparable Marketing Automation systems
    • You have working experience with graphic design
    • You have worked on a trading floor or at an asset manager, or have intimate experience working with capital markets, specifically in research, sales, or trading
