Job Description
TouchBistro is looking for an awesome Product Installation Technician to join our New York team! The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting onsite installs and configuration for our New York City customers. A strong background in tech, installation, and networking is a must, along with the ability to work in time sensitive situations and have a process driven approach to troubleshooting hardware and networks. Being a self proclaimed foodie, or having a passion for the restaurant industry is a plus as you will be onsite in restaurants all over the city!
YOUR DAY-to-DAY
- Perform onsite installation & configuration of TouchBistro hardware, including: tablets, servers, payment terminals, printers, and other POS related devices
- Configure & Deploy networks and routers within each venue
- Configure Mac OSX
- Evaluate & provide installation recommendations
- Provide proactive onsite support for customers
- Coordinate with other Field Technicians and the Support Team as required
- Manage installation appointments and travel timelines throughout NYC
ALL ABOUT YOU
- Apple hardware and software knowledge including Mac OS & iOS
- Strong background in computer networking
- Experience in troubleshooting hardware, software, and networks
- Flexible work schedule to help accommodate our rapidly growing customer base
- Ability to work in both a team environment and under minimal supervision
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Valid drivers license & passport (access to a reliable vehicle is a plus)
- Restaurant and/or bar experience is a bonus!

TouchBistro is a breakthrough product for the restaurant industry.
