Job Description

Coinsquare is the second largest cryptocurrency exchange in Canada. The digital currency and asset market is poised for explosive growth and Coinsquare is dedicated to taking advantage of that by becoming Canada's preferred 21st century financial services provider. In June of 2017 our team was around 25 people as of mid-January 2018 we're at 75 and continuing to grow, with an expectation of having a team of over 250 by June 2018.   Coinsquare's Engineering and Product Team is growing rapidly and we are looking for an experienced Product Manager to help guide and develop the Desktop Platform Team. As a Product Manager, you’ll liaise with team members and key stakeholders to ensure we are building the most valuable features, identifying new market opportunities, and driving internal and external awareness of our product capabilities.


Core Responsibilities

    • Lead product definition supported by business requirements and user stories that can be used to create product specifications and architecture
    • Manage the product development process and partner with client research and agile engineering teams
    • Optimize and scale our client servicing features for increased traction by analyzing user acquisition, activation, retention, revenue, and referral data
    • Partner with marketing and relationship managers to support the needs of distribution channels
    • Identify and resolve strategic issues that may impair the team’s ability to meet strategic, financial, and technical goals


    • B.S. or B.A. in information systems or related field of study required
    • A minimum of 4+ years of experience, including at least 2 years of project management experience
    • Experience with Agile project management with Agile certification preferred
    • A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or related certification is a bonus
    • Experience leading projects through the complete redesign project life cycle utilizing traditional project management as well as iterative development/Agile methodologies
    • Ability to tailor project management best practices to project teams to deliver business value
    • Worked directly with teams of developers as well as non-technical people
    • Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies quickly
