This B2B role involves dealing directly with the owners, finance managers and sales agents of businesses wishing to use our consumer financing platform. We work with companies in the vehicle, home improvement, and retail industries. This position will report direct to the Senior Sales Manager and will work closely with the rest of the Financeit team.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be motivated, organized, detail-oriented, a product expert and focused on customer service above all else. You are an enthusiastic, team player with a positive attitude, and are regarded as a strong and personable communicator. You are comfortable multi-tasking in a fast-paced and high pressure environment, as well as working interdepartmentally to continuously improve the product.

Responsibilities:

  • To provide frontline support to all merchants within the Merchant Engagement channel in order to increase the number of Active and Super Active merchants
  • Work closely with Product team to ensure optimal product adoption rate through data collection and feedback loops
  • Develop, maintain and manage strong internal and external relationships
  • Maintain accountability through daily and weekly reporting of all sales activities
  • Work closely with Merchant Approval and Activation teams in order to improve the overall Merchant Journey.

Requirements:

  • BA degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 1-3 years inbound and outbound inside sales experience or account team support
  • Experience in lending, financial services, tech or banking is an asset
  • Demonstrated expertise supporting B2B sales and service relationships in an asset
  • Strong telephone and F2F communication skills
  • Proficiency in Salesforce.com or other CRM tools
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Customer service, Customer Success and/or retail background experience are pluses
