Job Description


We are looking for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our growing team. Reporting to and partnering with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the CFO will play a critical role in developing and implementing the financial strategy of Financeit. The successful candidate will be responsible for taking on a leadership role in financial decision-making that affects the company, and will provide strategic financial input to the executive team and senior management.   • Contribute to the development and implementation of the company’s operational plan and strategic business plan with the executive management team.
  • Provide leadership and coordination in the administrative, business planning, accounting and budgeting efforts of the company.
  • Lead and improve Financeit’s long term lending and capital strategy.
  • Establish and implement short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
  • Assess organizational performance against both the annual budget and Financeit's long-term strategy.
  • Develop tools and systems to provide critical financial and operational information to the CEO and make actionable recommendations on both strategy and operations.
  • Oversee long-term budgetary planning and costs management in alignment with Financeit’s strategic plan.
  • Develop a reliable cash flow projection process and reporting mechanism that includes minimum cash threshold to meet operating needs.
  • Optimize the handling of banking relationships and initiate appropriate strategies to enhance cash positions.
  • Oversee financial management of foreign operations to include developing financial and budget policies and procedures.


  • 15+ years of experience in a senior-level finance position, preferably in a publicly traded company
  • Experience working in a face-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • CPA or CFA is preferred
  • Experience in and understanding of consumer lending is an asset
  • Experience in strategic planning and execution
  • Positive team attitude, with the ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes
  • A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills
