Our Solution

Demyst is an External Enterprise Data Platform, used by major US and APAC financial institutions to better discover, test, and deploy third party data solutions. Leading banks and insurers leverage our platform to find and test new data to incorporate into decision processes across the customer lifecycle.


The Challenge:

The Director, Client Engagement operates as a senior leader to drive ongoing value for one or more clients, and sustain and grow revenue for Demyst. This leadership role owns the internal and external processes that accelerate acquisition, onboarding, satisfaction, retention & growth of a book of clients using our proprietary platform and products. The role will accomplish this through a combination of individual contribution, management of customer success team members, and partnering with with internal functional leaders in Product, Engineering, Legal and Revenue.


  • Lead end-to-end client purchase, implementation, and growth in usage of Demyst platform and products
  • Sustainably manage P&L for each client
  • Anticipate & oversee business process, software, data management, compliance, & regulatory concerns of clients in financial institutions
  • Navigate global, matrixed organizational structures with ability to partner with and influence key stakeholders
  • Navigate internal and customer-facing ecosystems with autonomy
  • Utilize exceptional communication, deadline management, goal-setting & coaching principles
  • Manage or lead/oversee communication and information flows including internal standups, centralized project management and technical documentation, project updates, working sessions, internal executive committee updates and client steering committee sessions
  • Effectively manage talent including but not limited to assessment, onboarding, coaching, training, motivating & supervising, while also orchestration
  • Estimate and evangelize value of demyst throughout client organizations
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and executive team members to support internal operational efficiency through customer-centric knowledge-sharing
  • Contribute to & explore opportunities to deliver company-wide revenue growth
  • Informally support, train, and assist other Client team members to achieve targets & develop professionally


  • Bachelor’s Degree from an Accredited University in a relevant field of study
  • 5-7 years of experience in Business Analysis, Solutions Consulting, Quantitative Research, or Financial Services OR 2-5 years of experience plus Graduate-Level Degree in relevant field of study
  • Exposure across all and technical proficiency in at least one of the following: machine learning, statistics, cost benefit analysis, project management, data engineering
  • Demonstrated expertise in consultative solutions selling & project management
  • Demonstrated ability to manage financial and/or accounting statements
  • Demonstrated expertise in delivering audience-tailored verbal/written communication
  • Demonstrated proficiency to bring out the best in people, cultivating strengths & shaping developmental areas of talent, despite high pressure
