Title: Director, Product Marketing

Reports to: Product Manager

 

Our Solution

Demyst is an External Enterprise Data Platform, used by major US and APAC financial institutions to better discover, test, and deploy third party data solutions. Leading banks and insurers leverage our platform to find and test new data to incorporate into decision processes across the customer lifecycle.

The Opportunity

Director, Product Marketing acts as a core team member on our Demyst Platform team. You will be responsible for developing product positioning, shaping the product roadmap, and building go-to-market plans and owning the growth strategy for our Enterprise External Data Platform (E^2DP). You will partner with a high-performing cross-functional team that includes counterparts in Product Management, Design, Engineering, and Sales to meet shared objectives and key results.

  1. Must have SaaS marketing experience
  2. +5 for banking or insurance experience

Ideal Candidate:

  1. Track record of supporting or owning software product launches with omni-channel marketing activities
  2. Strong understanding of banking and insurance customers, products, and buyer behaviors

Responsibilities:

  • Define and Refine the essence of Demyst Value and Link to Most Compelling Buyers
  • Maintain close alignment to product roadmap and maintain the buyer leverage story-telling differentiators
  • Articulate the essence of the Demyst platform and the value it creates
  • Develop a strong messaging hierarchy and effective content strategy plan
  • Master storyteller: craft compelling narratives across different channels; matching the message to the medium
  • Direct and oversee all aspects of product life cycle management including understanding market demands, technology trends, and the competitive field
  • Understand key traffic drivers (onsite, email, social, etc.) and how to measure, track, and optimize them to accomplish business goals, document the results, and share best practices across the team.
  • Acquire new leads/users through effective, targeted product marketing technology tools & automation
  • Create and track organic and paid acquisition channels including SEO, outbound, advertising
  • Drive, develop, and execute product launch activities including one pagers, webinars, email campaigns, sales training, etc
  • Establish ROI estimation and reporting systems to drive product marketing with data-driven decisions aligned to business priorities such as new leads, qualified leads, revenue, & client feedback

REQUIREMENTS

Requirements:

  • Four year degree from accredited university
  • 5-7 years experience in SaaS product marketing, product launch experience strongly preferred
  • Experience managing Hubspot or similar technology products
  • Experience working with and managing analytical data products like Google Analytics
  • Experience with content management systems like Wordpress
  • Demonstrated track record of driving sales through product marketing activities
  • Demonstrated ability to use sales or business metrics to adapt marketing activities under accelerated timelines
  • Natural collaborator and strong listener
  • Diverse experience marketing to a variety of buyers, prefer some experience marketing to C-level buyers, financial services, technical audiences
