Demyst is an External Enterprise Data Platform, used by major US and APAC financial institutions to better discover, test, and deploy third party data solutions. Leading banks and insurers leverage our platform to find and test new data to incorporate into decision processes across the customer lifecycle.

The Challenge

The Senior Inside Sales Representative (ISR) is a key member of the Demyst platform team. The SISR is responsible for identifying prospective clients driving business needs and mapping them to Demyst’s unique value. An SISR must be a great listener and interviewer. The role requires attention to detail, responsiveness, and grit.


  • Manage full sales cycle to close new business opportunities from inbound leads
  • Sell as an individual contributor and as a team player - Meet or exceed assigned sales goals and work effectively as a sales team member; promote camaraderie, share best practices, provide assistance, be a positive influence
  • Schedule and conduct web-based product demonstrations for individuals and large groups
  • Utilize tailored communication, a methodical process, and influencing skills to sell to a range of buyers in banking and insurance
  • Learn & advance expertise of technical concepts as required for selling complex platform/product
  • Display persistence and discipline in following up with leads and prospects
  • Must be customer-centric, putting the customer’s success before all else
  • Must be detailed-oriented, with effective organizational skills, including strong time-management, the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously in a fast paced, deadline and data-driven environment
  • Must have a sense of urgency with the ability to thrive in a metrics-driven culture
  • Stay current with industry trends, show dedication to continuous learning on all fronts
  • Provide feedback to peers and internal teams to aid in the development and improvement of sales materials
  • Maintain up to date customer and prospect information in hubspot


Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3 to 5 years of inside sales experience in a business to business environment
  • Minimum 2 years meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Knowledge of and experience in the predictive analytics and financials services space highly weighted (Think: insight source for C-suite or 1 level below on the value of incremental data)
  • Strong experience in inbound sales lead phone follow-up
  • Display & develop core competencies: team player, results orientation, technical-functional expertise
  • Display & develop Team Values: listening, communication, honesty, collaboration, accountability, grit
