We need a dynamic Business Sourcer who shares our philosophy that finding high-quality talent requires innovative, out-of-the-box thinking versus traditional reactive methods. As the first impression of our company, you'll need to be able to relay a compelling picture of our team, vision, culture and responsibilities to prospective candidates, and be fearless in pursuing great new Affirmers!
The Business talent team makes sure that the candidate experience is enhanced by a top-notch  hiring process. We take great pride in a fast but thoughtful approach and our philosophy of quick and consistent communication with all candidates. We are passionate about building a diverse and inclusive team and we need someone on our growing team who shares these values!

What you'll do

    • Team up with hiring managers for all business teams (Finance, Revenue, Legal, Marketing, Operations, etc.)  to build strategies and candidate pipeline for current and future roles
    • You’ll be instrumental in sourcing great candidates to our quarterly business recruiting events and will help the team strategize on themes, venues and the content necessary to attract the right people for Affirm
    • Support company hiring goals by building a candidate pipeline for high-priority roles and extended network for our volume hires
    • Partner with leadership to understand the competitive landscape and gather insightful recruiting data that will inform your sourcing approach
    • Source and engage candidates with a personal touch that aligns with Affirm's core values
    • Craft creative and compelling emails and nurture campaigns that will attract discerning prospective candidates

Who you are

    • 2+ years of recruiting team experience (coordinating, recruiting, sourcing) for a fast growing startup with impeccable standards
    • Passion for building a diverse and inclusive team
    • Proven track record for successfully identifying and hiring exceptional candidates in high-growth environments
    • Experience with creative sourcing through multiple channels (web, social/professional networks, search strings, etc.) - In essence, you go above and beyond just LinkedIn
    • Persistent curiosity and desire to learn the in’s and out’s of our business
    • A fun, optimistic and collaborative teammate who pitches in wherever necessary
    • Excellent ambassador for the company - professional, articulate, and knowledgeable
    • Strong project management skills - prioritization might be your superpower
    • Ability to think creatively and critically while thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic, and often ambiguous work environment
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
