Job Description

As Stripe’s first Workplace Coordinator you’ll deliver facilities and office support programs that enable Stripes to stay productive in a comfortable and enriching environment. Stripe is growing rapidly, and this team has exciting work ahead laying the foundation on which our Workplace scales. You’ll be the first point of contact for facilities issues, and will be heavily involved as the team builds programs and workflows from the ground up. The Workplace Coordinator role will be a full-time, non-exempt role for a fixed term of 6 months.

You will:

  • Support the documentation and implementation of workplace operating guidelines
  • Ensure prompt and positive responses to office incidents and requests
  • Build strong relationships with vendors and building management; maintain best in class service whether issues are resolved in house or by one of our partners
  • Ensure open office spaces and meeting rooms are kept clean, orderly, and functional
  • Support space planning, office expansions, and layout changes as required; coordinate move logistics
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve service levels and process efficiency
  • Provide back-up front desk coverage; support a welcoming, secure lobby experience for guests and employees
  • Help implement and scale workplace health and safety programs
  • Ensure new hires have clean, functional workstations on day one
  • Take on light handyman work and physical labor as needed

You should have:

  • 3+ years experience in a Facilities or Office Services role, ideally supporting a high growth, 100,000 square foot+ workplace
  • Working knowledge of MEP and lighting systems
  • An orientation toward rolling up your sleeves and getting things done, with a knack for solving problems and spotting inefficiencies
  • A driving need to deliver the best possible experience—you may have been called a perfectionist once or twice
  • A willingness to be self-directed
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

Nice to have:

  • Direct customer service experience
  • Demonstrated project management experience

Your employment with Stripe will be at-will. This means that either you or Stripe may terminate your employment at any time, with or without cause and with or without notice.
