What the Job Entails

  • Automating workflows and developing “no touch” and “light touch” solutions able to be handed off to our IT Support team
  • Managing endpoints at scale and providing a roadmap for development and improvement
  • Governing identity management within the organization and surfacing methods to ease the administrative overhead of the service
  • Building and maintaining SaaS solutions for various stakeholders in a secure manner
  • Developing processes for reviewing, testing, and improving practices within the team around security, automation, and issue response
  • Engaging with partners throughout the organization to proactively address concerns and technical pain points
  • Stewarding the processes and practices utilized by the IT organization to streamline development and foster adoption
  • Acting as an escalation point within the team for complicated technical issues
  • Providing mentorship and guidance to team members for technical development
  • Driving adoption of industry best practices around documentation, process management, and business-minded strategy within the IT organization

Our Ideal Candidate

  • 3+ years of experience within the Client Engineering space
  • Familiar with SSO and SAML and the pitfalls around implementation
  • Displays professionalism towards customers and understand the handling of VIP customers
  • Experience supporting a productionalized environment and providing 24x7 on-call support
  • Exhibits a strong sense of ownership and the ability to convey not just the “what” but also the “why”
  • Working knowledge of at least one scripting language (bash, python, ruby, etc)
  • Strong sense of system design and understanding vertical and horizontal scaling

Additional Skills

  • Cloud (AWS, GCP, etc) experience
  • Administration experience with Atlassian Products (Jira, Confluence)
  • OOP experience with concentration on code reusability
  • Agile experience
