The product marketing team plays a pivotal role in this mission by (i) helping guide our teams to develop products that consumers will love and (ii) crafting and implementing marketing strategies that drive increased awareness and adoption of these products.  Product marketing is the glue that holds the product and marketing teams together. We’re looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager to leverage analytics, consumer insights, product knowledge and marketing know-how to drive increased adoption of our features and value to our members. We’re looking for someone who gets excited to explore, understand and solve real consumer financial problems--that’s what we’re in the business of here at Credit Karma.

What You'll Do:

  • Partner closely with product managers to be the voice of Credit Karma’s members and connect how their product fits within the larger member journey
  • Be the “CMO” for a vertical and develop a go-to-market strategy in partnership with the product and marketing teams
  • Develop value propositions and positioning for our products/services that will resonate with the target audience and align with our brand
  • Generate consumer insights and competitive analyses by leveraging research, in-market tests, and usability studies, and make actionable recommendations based on findings
  • Partner with product, performance marketing, brand and creative to design campaigns that increase adoption
  • Partner with member support, social media and PR to determine consumer feedback and make recommendations based on insights gathered

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • 7+ years of experience in product marketing for customer-facing technology products
  • Demonstrated ability to translate a product strategy into innovative go-to-market plans; effectively managing the execution of such plans
  • Ability to problem-solve and understand key drivers of the business
  • Analytical thinker and experience in data-driven marketing
  • Strong ability to communicate, build relationships and influence cross-functionally
  • Ability to context shift quickly between strategic, analytic and creative problems
  • Ability to deal with short-term priority changes while maintaining a long-term perspective on department and company objectives
