The Director of Growth (Engagement) holds a foundational role in driving the company’s growth engine. Your mandate is to build and manage a team of talented Growth Managers focused on driving top line growth for Credit Karma’s most popular products such as Credit Scores, Reports, Monitoring or Tax. To do so, you will own and manage outbound (email, push) and in-product notifications and partner with Product, Analytics, Design and Engineering on features and projects that drive user retention and engagement. You will also be responsible for shaping the vision and strategy of the product’s overall growth, own monthly and quarterly top line targets, play a pivotal role in defining Credit Karma’s member experience and enjoy high visibility to senior marketing and product leadership. What You Get to Do:

  • Build and lead a best-in-class team of passionate, dedicated, user focused, data-driven Growth Managers
  • Define the growth vision and strategy for key Credit Karma features (e.g. Credit Scores, Reports, Monitoring or Tax) and actively manage their top-line metrics (e.g. MAU, DAU, Time Spent, Revenue and Brand Metrics)
  • Leverage data to understand our products in depth and identify areas of opportunity
  • Create, manage and optimize a very large set of outbound (i.e. email, push) and in-product notifications
  • Partner directly with Analytics, Product, Engineering and Design to develop and execute projects that drive member growth, retention, engagement, and/or revenue
  • Scale management, leadership, recruiting, and talent development practices across our team
  • Partner with marketing technology groups to develop the platforms that power Credit Karma’s 1:1 marketing and member experience, including our notifications and remarketing engines

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • 8+ years B2B and/or B2C experience in growth, product management, CRM, product analytics, or other relevant experience
  • 5+ years of experience managing projects
  • 5+ years of experience in managing other team members in a formal or informal capacity
  • Strong familiarity with SQL and advanced Excel functionality
  • Experience designing and implementing A/B and multivariate tests, results of which can influence the company’s product roadmap
  • Experience analyzing, interpreting, and leveraging data to make business decisions
  • Experience communicating insights and ideas
  • Technical degree (economics, engineering, statistics, etc.) strongly preferred
