At Klarna we are working tirelessly to change the way that people buy online. At the very core of this mission is the smoooth user-experience that consumers get when they check out using our products online. Our merchants think this is equally important as a simple purchase experience increases conversion rates and average basket size.
In order to illustrate our product offering to potential merchants we are now looking for a talented UX designer to join our Commercial team in Amsterdam and help our Dutch and UK-Sales department to spread the Klarna gospel.
What you will be doing
As a UX designer you will take point in our effort to illustrate the smoothness of our products to prospective merchants. By creating mock upsmock ups that illustrate how a prospective merchant’s sites would look when integrated with Klarna, your role will have a tangible impact on a merchant's decision to integrate with us rather than another payment provider.
You will work close to our product design team and other members of our product organisation aside from your daily interaction with the sales team. Together, you will all work towards tight deadlines, sometimes very tight ones, and while you will have access to all of our design resources and tools you should know that we never let the pressure of an important deal influence our strive for perfection. Needless to say your ability to keep a cool head while delivering high-quality work will be a great asset in this role.
It is not unlikely that you will also get involved in some product discovery and help the sales team define new features in collaboration with new merchants. Overall, however, your job will be focused on creating a visual representation of what our existing product suite would look like in the merchant’s checkout flow.
