At Klarna we are working tirelessly to change the way people buy online. Our customers seem to like the way we are doing it and we continue to grow across the Nordic region year by year. Needless to say our Commercial department plays a crucial role in fueling this growth and our SME - Sales team is no exception. We are now looking for a Norwegian speaking Business Development Associate to come join our multinational team based in Stockholm and help spread the Klarna gospel to our closest neighboring market.  

What you will be doing
As a Business Development Associate at Klarna your task will be to contact e-stores via telephone to offer Klarna’s services. Our high performing SME Sales Team are specialized in approaching small to medium sized merchants in the Nordic market, but you will naturally be focusing on the Norwegian marketplace.

Your tasks will vary from approaching new customers to taking inbound calls from existing customers, with a focus on upselling. We focus on building relationships by providing quality service and at the very core of every interaction you have with a merchant your service mindedness will be your most important tool. As a successful Business Development Manager, you’ll need to be attentive and good at analyzing customer’s needs and providing them with a solution enabling them to grow their business.

You'll need to;

  • Have worked with sales before and used to approaching clients over the phone.
  • Norwegian language skills at a very high level if you are not a native speaker
  • A high energy level and triggered by hunting for new business and closing deals.
  • Have around 2 years of experience in solution selling or consulting sales.
  • A preference for working towards, and exceeding, both individual and team goals.  
  • Your selfdriven and like to take ownership in you day-to-day work.
  • Be fluent in both Swedish and English.
