We are seeking outstanding Java or Scala software engineers to help us build ambitious AI-based products that leverage high-performance, distributed data processing, and Machine Learning. We want you to help us build a state-of-the-art product and solve scalability, fault-tolerance and real-time performance problems as well as ensure the overall product provides a great user experience and delivers on the intended vision. 

Your day–to–day

  • Work iteratively within our agile teams to develop our products and underlying technical frameworks
  • Write reusable and testable code using the best tools for the job and participate in code reviews
  • Design & influence the future product architecture, from the data layer, to service orchestration

 Your know how

  • Strong coding skills and Computer Science fundamentals
  • Experience building Java or Scala-based backend software or similar
  • Someone who can bring his/her ideas into the team and is able to work out solutions to tough problems autonomously
  • BSc/MSc degree in Computer Science, or a similar technical degree, is required

Valued

  • Real-world experience in programming high-performance, concurrent server-side code
  • Experience with modern distributed systems platforms such as Spark, Akka, RabbitMQ or Cassandra
  • Real-world Experience working in Agile teams
  • Experience with continuous delivery and automated deployment of distributed cloud services
  • Contributions to OSS projects
